From deep in the Suffolk countryside come some of the finest fruit and vegetable juices.
The secret to making brilliant juices and non-alcoholic drinks is to use only really good natural ingredients and be confident about strong and distinctive flavours.
Lawrence Mallinson acquired the assets of a defunct Suffolk Cider Company in 1989. Starting with our still popular range of single variety English apple juices – Bramley Cox and Russet - the company has grown into one of the UK’s major fruit and vegetable juice pressers, packers and bottlers. We have been based at Whites Fruit Farm in Ashbocking, Suffolk since 1992.
We launched Big Tom, our spicy tomato juice in 1997 and it has steadily grown year by year to become the leading spicy tomato juice in Europe. In 2002, we were granted a Royal Warrant by HM The Queen specifically for Big Tom. In 2020 we launched Big Tom Ketchup.
We started selling organic beetroot juice in 2005, which in 2009 we rebranded as Beet It. Since 2008 we have worked with over 300 medical and sports performance research projects investigating the benefits of dietary nitrate naturally found in beetroot juice. We developed our Beet It concentrated beetroot juice range of sport performance products as a consequence of the remarkable findings of this research.
Since 2010 our Beet It Sports products have been used by an increasing number of the world’s top sportsmen and women.
In 2011 we acquired the Thorncroft cordial business. Thorncroft, the UK’s first elderflower cordial brand, also make a range of hedgerow inspired cordials including Rosehip, Wild Nettle and its Herbal Liquorice (Dandelion and Burdock).
Our newest baby is our Zinger shots - a range of little spicy drinks with a big Zing to wake up your taste buds!
We believe that our juices are the best, which is why we don't mess around with them. The finest fruit and vegetables, expertly pressed and blended with a range of big flavours. That's who we are, James White - Bold By Nature.
As well as our extensive range of James White organic and classic fruit and vegetable juices, we are also the home among others of Big Tom spicy tomato juice and Beet It, our range of beetroot juices and sports nutrition products.
